Here in Darkhan the animals are pretty free!
So going to the supermarket I have seen my first mongolian horses!
They told me those are a bit old, but still!!!
Is not Mongolia famous for it's horses??? :-)

Mongolian games
You remember that in Mongolia they eat a lot of sheep.
And they collect the bones to play with them.
There are 4 faces: camel, horse, goat and sheep.
And then you launch them, this make some points or give luck.
That's the present I have received actually, but this post was written before :-). The mongolian name is shagai (шагай)
They also have some games, I found some explanation on internet:
Game1:
- Need at least 20 ancle bones
- 2 to 6 playersObject: to get all the ancle bones. Each side of the bone represent different animals; Sheep, goat, horse, and camel. (pictures of these four)
A. The first player gathers all the ancle bones and throws them on a flat surface.
B. The player then looks for pairs of matching bones. Eg: Camel - camel, goat - goat, sheep - sheep, and horse - horse and flicks one of the matching bone to hit the other matching bone. If they touch any other bone, then you lose your turn.
C. If you hit it, then you pick up one of the two bones that has ben just hit and keep trying to get as many bones as possible. If you miss, then you lose your turn and the next player picks all the remaining bones up and throws them to play his turn.
D. The game continues to play until one person has all the bones.
Who has the most horses?
- Need at least 20 bones
- 2 to 6 players
Object: To get the most 'Horses' bones.
A. The first player throws all the ancle bones on a flat surface.
B. And picks all the horses from the file.
C. After he picked all the horses without touching any other animal bones, now it is your turn.
D. The next player will pick all the ancle bones and throw them and pick all the 'Horses' out of the pile.
E. Each player is given a turn until all the bones are picked up. The person with the most bones is the winner.
In the winter they also play with ice cubes. I have not seen it real but on TV. This seems so great!!
I also like what they do when they win:

this is still my birthday!!!
Yeah this is still my birthday!!!!
Did I told you that I am also making some english conversation??
No, well I do, and in exchange I receive some mongolian lesson.
So my students and some friends have organized a second birthday for me:-)
Look at the beautiful cake again!!!
And from the side!!
This is again a delicious one!!!!
So here are my students and some other teachers (mathematics and english).
They have organized everything, this was so nice, thanks!!!!
And they have offered me some divinations runes from mongolia.
These are sheep bones.
And depending on the side they fall it means something else.
But first you have to recognize if this is a camel, goat, sheep or horse…
I still have to practice:-)
Ah I have the explanation of the bones!!
see, now I can be an oracle!!!

For my students I bought some chuppa chups. Well 2 very big bag!!
Seems that this is very popular here:-)
And for the teachers I went to this bakery to buy a cake
This is located in the biggest building of Darkhan, as you can see
And inside wouahhh.
First time I was there, but this is so nice!!!!!!!
They even have some lemon tarts, I will come back, so great!!!
Or not, because so dangerous, I want to try all of them!!!!
So I bought this very big cake, the boy is impressive!!!
And to go with it, we had some ginseng korean tea :-)
We are international here!!!
And look this is the cake I bought.
With roses and chocolate inside.
The teachers have offered me some mongolian presents.
Some traditional representation of Mongolia
This is a key holder, hand made, very nice to protect my sumo, because he is getting old...
And this is a chinese head breaker!!!!
And here almost the all troop!!
Changing who is taking the picture :-)
They gave me a big knife to cut the big cake
But Zenee is a better expert so I let him do:-)
Just watch the movie to see how professional he is!!!
And hop this is the result!!!
Look that's my piece!
A very big one.
But I have to say this was really delicious!!!!
And after that happy birthday in mongolian!!!, yeahhhhh
