My food

One of the most important thing in life is to eat :-)
But for me this is not always easy :-)

Why why why !!!!
Look this is the menu of my cantine with no pictures!!
And this is written in cyrillic!
Why make it simple :-)

this is the second part of the menu
But when it comes to food I always find a solution!!

So from these pictures I have done a text file
1 гчляш goulash : guljas
2 нарийн мах stick Meat
3 холимог хуургз mixed with meat pepper egg mushroom tomato paste
4 цуйван fried slice of dough with meat: tsuivan
5 пунтуузтй хуурга p Ragout with potato noodle

And I have printed my list. So everyday I go with my list and I try new things!
This is nice, I like the food:-)

Otherwise for my home I go to the supermarket: Nomin
This is a very big one.
You have many in the country.
There I find everything that I need and this is open everyday from 8 am to 9pm
This is really great:-)

And I have discovered this tea: Mactea.
This is really good, really artificial with a lot of sugar, but I like it!!!!!
So I make tea everyday, anyway you can not drink the tap water, so I boil it all the time.

And this is where I cook at home.
This is not so easy but it makes it.
As you see I can cook my meat and my pasta or potatoes or rice
So no worries!!
And I have a fridge and a freezer, and also a rice cooker for my dim sum

So I am not dying from not eating :-)
That's the contrary….

Look at this big piece of meat, this is what I will cook for dinner :-)
Life is nice sometimes, but???
I can not open the window, well smell of meat there is worse !!!

I can also have all sort of vegetables and mongolian potatoes and oignon

And this is my treasure place, look at that!
Everything that you need!!

And in case I still need something I can buy some eclair.
Not exactly like the french, but delicious!!!!

In the shop where I buy the eclair I also buy pirosky. This is doughnut stuffed with meat or potatoes or rice.
Very fatty but delicious too:-)

And in case I really miss something I still have the french cakes.
Any questions about the  fact that I can dye of hunger:-) ???????

big wind or mini storm?

Yesterday I woke up early, and not because of the noise of the student at the dorm (for once) but because of the noise of the wind. Well that's a different noise ...

It was kind of mini storm. It was snowing again ...

 The sky was kind of very dark, strange color

 See the snow on the ground.
And it was very windy, I almost flew away while going home.
Hopefully I don't have a long way :-)

They told me this is the spring here.
Oh well.
But today this is sunny again, so maybe this is not so bad?

Campaign against drinking and smoking

At the university there is a big campaign against smoking and drinking.
So some students have done some art work.

I let you admire even if you don't understand mongol as good as I do :-)

Korean Dinner

On Friday night I was invited for a korean dinner at Hak's home. I went with Batjargal an english teacher at the Uni.

Hak is living in an very nice and quiet apartment in one part of Darkhan, 1/2 from my place so we went there by foot, and anyway the temperature is increasing.
We have + degrees now:-)
We had some typical korean food. Some marinated chicken with potatoes

And then the korean sushis, gimbap.
This is delicious!!!
We spent a great evening talking about everything possible!

And this is just for me, a mongolian cake.
Very nice and delicious :-)
But very sweet, well I can manage!!!

As a present I have received some korean curry preparation.
Actually this is very good, so I will buy some, this is a different meal!!

Snow views

Ok this is spring and the snow is disappearing so I am showing you some last snow views:

This is the city, near the supermarket

The city is surrounded by small mountains. The smoke from this one is coming from the thermal plant for electricity.

And the trottoirs. This is not so slippery but you still have to pay attention.
FOr the moments I only fall  once, not so bad!!!

Darkhan is really spread over, you have the new town, the old one, and this part.
You have to take taxi to go from one part to the other one.

These mountains are very far away and seems to be very big!! No chances that I go there!!!

Oh by the way it was around -20--- when I took these pictures, but this is really fine!!!

I am sick

Well this is not the first time and it won't be the last time!!!
But since this was lasting too long and that I am looking like a zombie now, I went to the doctor at the university.

After looking at me she has given me some receipt.
And then when went to the pharmacy with Itka
and ...

I got that!!
What's very nice is that I have only received the numbers of pills that I need.
Why they don't do that everywhere? That's such a waste otherwise!!!

The yellow things are vitamins C, very good taste and funny look
I think the other ones are really healing ones

I have also received that one.
My first reaction, is this the mary ???
But no this is just some normal (since I don't know what this is I guess :-)) herbs to use to clean my throat.
I will try that one tonight:-)
But I have already used the other ones and I really fell better!!
Youpi!!!!
But I still look like a zombie :-)

сумо

The Osaka basho has just started, but from the school the internet viewing is not working.
I see a sumo then it freeze, then I see again then freeze again, so I don't see anything:-(
I was quite sad, but a college told me that I can watch it on TV!!!!!

And lucky me, from the 5 channels that I have, I have the one with sumo.

At the end I am going to be schizophren!!

It was already something with only japanese one, but the 2 mixed, wouah what a story.

The only thing that I understand is за, ъаяртай and the name of the sumo, but this is already something :-)

Never mind, the most important is that I can watch the fights, thanks mongolian TV!!!!!
