The hostel

So here is my life at the hostel:
I share a room with Monica (nice room) and we usually wake up at 6am or a bit later, then we start the work at 6am30 or a bit later!

then in the morning we first clean the table at the restaurant and then we do the table set up (see the picture from the previous post :-))
So depending on the number of guest we have more to do!!
After that we do an announce for the guest to come to have breakfast. When I do it, I do it in japanese, english and french.

Parallel to that we do some dishes cleaning in the kitchen.
So when the guest are eating we have also our breakfast in the kitchen.

and after that we clean all the dishes in the kitchen.

and put everything back.
We usually finish around 8am30 or a bit earlier depending on the number of guest.

Starting at 9am we clean the hostel. Clean the rooms, the sink, vacuum, weep the floor,…
Around 10am we have a tea break with some sweets with the host, where we talk about many things!
After that finish the cleaning around 11am.
In the time when guests are leaving we sing a country song for them:-)

Around 12am we have our lunch, Monica san is doing it, because this is not really my thing :-)

Look the result is very nice :-)

And then we start work again at 5pm45, same thing but for the dinner, we prepare the table, serve the dishes and to the kitchen cleaning.
We usually finish at 8pm30.
Sometimes there are some games with the guest on which we take part.
Last time it was to find word in the newspaper and to do some origami, was very funny!!!

So during the long afternoon break or after the evening work we go to the onsen in the hostel.

it's very nice, very removing the stress of the day

We can also read millions of mangas if we want!!
But in the evening I'm so tired that I go to bed right after the onsen…
But now we have free time until tomorrow evening, so we will go to Beppu!!!
